More old material is removed as we now know where we'll be doing the welding and joining of the panels. It's so much easier to make more cuts then it would be to have to make up for bad cutting or poor measurements. Another good note ... measure, Measure, MEASURE !!!

Again, going over all measurements, seeing if there are any further cuttings to be done ... Patch pieces for the door jam, as well as the marker light piece from the old quarter, which we're gonna need to make the necessary cuts on the replacement quarters, as they are cut for the nova marker lights.

Would like to take a moment to plug 'Coca-Cola', my personal (Novaboy-73) beverage of choice, and what is keeping me going with only 5 hours of sleep ... AHHH!, A cold refreshing drink ... Coca-Cola Classic, available at your local convience store.

After doing some cutting to the support to get the corner of the new quarter to fit, we realized there wasn't much support there anymore. So I made up a small support piece to weld in there to give it some strength, altho it won't matter once the quarter or door jam patch pieces are welded in. Nevertheless, it's not going anywhere now or gonna move around.

Installed the door jam patch pieces, which Kelly & Shelly did a great job making and sizing up. All I had to do was weld them in. Must say, I think my welding skills are improving alittle ...

I managed to get the quarter on the car and held it on with some vise-grips in the wheel well. Needed to size up the rear to see where I had to make a patch piece on the back lip where the quarter attaches to the car.

Sealed up the wheel well with some Mono-Foam, to keep the water out, altho I'll be coating the wheel well with Rubberized Rock Guard after anyways ... and again, I take a moment to think why I took my gloves off ...

Making a new lip at the back where I'll have to weld and attach the quarter too ...

Alittle more sizing, cutting and modifications still being made for the patch piece, but I think it's ready to be welded on, altho I'd like Kelly opinion first ... and we're almost ready to put on the quarter.
